The Giant’s Causeway is just a few miles away from Ballylough. There is an interpretive centre with cafe and facililties at the top of the walk to the stones. Entry prices give you access to the centre and car parking on site. If you don’t want to use the centre, you can park in Bushmills, or at Portballintrae and walk to the stones. Additional car parking is available during summer months and the Park and Ride facility is a great way to park in Bushmills, then catch a regular bus to the Centre (the Centre access ticket is reduced if you do this). You are able to dander around the shops and cafes in Bushmills.
The walk to the stones is about 1km from the National Trust Visitor Center, and can be steep, wet and windy so take suitable clothing and suitable footwear.
If you do pay to go into the center there is a great ranger team who can provide really good guided walks around the site.
